Awesome mod, just curious anyone notice a boost in new members who join using facebook?

It usually weeds out the people that only want to join for 10 minutes for whatever reason. The honest ones usually join via normal registration.

Ive looked every where and cant seem to find the answer.

is there anyway that you can import the users facebook avatar as default when they sign up using facebook? at the moment they have to go into there settings and click import facebook avatar. id like to do this automatically.

May I know where we can read a step-by-stem instruction how to make a Facebook app and get a token access. Facebook guide is kind of unfriendly to newbies.

integration mod but posts are not automataclly

I have problem with people registration. I create application, and sucesfully asociate my account with facebook, but when someone else want to asociate account he receive error no conectin with facebook found. Also when someone try to register throuth facebook he recive error 41. And cant register account.

Any help?

How can I create the app in facebook. I was in the developers area, But when I linked to facebook it said I didnt own the page so it didnt work.

Are there any video tutorials?

Just tried testing it by trying to sign in via FB and get this

The application you are trying to access does not exist or has been disabled.

1. Did you create an application on facebook
2. Did you setup that application correctly
(if you need help with this let me know)

The mod is just awesome, i have a small question.

I have links on my website to download stuff, can we hide the link and get an option to like us on facebook to see thelinks.
I would appreciate if you can tell me

are you using URL management ?
I get same probleme when using PrettyURL..
you can try change URL Redirect in APP Facebook to your link after URL management
in my case i use hxxp:domainname.com/?action=facebook [nonactive]
and try use www or without it

I use prryurl too and have same problem. Where i can add that?

Just get rid of prett urls. It is useless for seo and will screw up many mods

You can add to your APPS Facebook or you can try
In Pretty URLs Administration Setting you can add Skip Actions List: http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?action=facebook
or you can uncheck option Rewrite Action URLs  in URL rewriting filters.

Dont forget to clear cache your forum (Maintenance - Forum Maintenance - Empty the file cache - Run Task Now)
