Image attachments downloading as wrong file types?

Hello...

In my 2.0RC3 installation a user noticed that if he tries to download (or open within the post) an image attachment, he may get a very large (kb-wise) file that may not be of the original filetype (png instead of JPG) and with the wrong suffix (that is, the original file may have been a JPG; the file downloaded is a large PNG; with a JPG extension).

This is very weird... anyone has any ideas?

Looks like that might be a bug in RC3.
