No bump board?

Hope this is the right section... I don't post here much.

As we know when a thread is posted on, it gets bumped to the top of the board. In the news section of my forums I don't want the old news to bump up just because someone posted on it. Is there a mod to make it not bump on a specific board? I couldn't find one.

PS: I still want them to be able to post and such.
