This is my first add on for Smf. It will expand the view forum option from guests to all the other usergroups. The new options can be found now at Permissions->Usergroup->Modify. Below General permissions you will see a new permission, View forum. By default it is set to no. Tick the permission box if you want that group to view the forum.

I have post based groups permissions, that encourage new users to make at least one post before gaining normal access.  This works fine overall, however, once one post is made, I can only deny use of board, and Id like to have measures in place which would allow me to disable viewing access for a certain group without placing them on a ban list.  This looks like just what I need.

But unfortunately, Im getting error on index.php when testing the install on a RC4 board...what are the chances for getting this mod updated for use with this version?

THANKS!

Thanks for this cicka, could you please update it for 1.1.12?

That would be to downgrade. I am sorry but I will not downgrade the mod for 1.1.12 because I do not use that version.

Thanks..I did manage to get the mod installed by manually making the edit to index.php.  It worked, but I suspect that my hack did not allow for other mods because my contact page did not show.  I have portaMX, aeva, contact page, stop forum spam, and SA FBconnect installed.

Also..what are the chances of having an option for redirect to a custom page instead of generic login prompt when the affected member loads a non access page?  The whole premise of this operation is to get and direct the users attention and tell them they need to update their info/email/or just have been "bad"..lol..so Id really like to give them an idea of what they need to do to correct the problem.
Thanks!!
