We have 1.1.11.

Is it possible to require approval of a member's first post? If so how? We have a "joined" group for 0 posts, and a "newbie" group for 1 post, but the only option I see is to be able to post or not, nothing about requiring approval.

Unfortunately with 1.1.11, no, you can not do this, but with 2.0. you can.
