[FREE] WordPress 3.0.2 And SMF 2.0 RC4 Integration

Hello, I know that there has been a lot of talk about this, but I NEED this for my blog and Forum. Thanks for your patience.

Version
SMF 2.0 RC4

(WordPress 3.0.2, latest)
Description
Description above in "message."

Permissions
Administrator on SMF end puts path to WordPress install (in my case, probably "../")

Users can use their SMF or WordPress account to log into the forum
Guests are just like regular guests, nothing different.

Feature Set
Admin Options:


       
  • Path to WordPress install
  • Enable/Disable integration (checkbox)
  • If a user is a "Moderator" they would be a "Author" in WordPress.
  • If a user is a "Global Moderator" they would be a "Editor" in WordPress.

I don't think this is legally possible until SMF 2.0 Final because the licenses are not compatible afaik.

Just an SMF end? For pushing users? Even if I have to wait until gold. This is a must between my blog and forum!

you could write your own using the hooks smf provide,  its not illegal to make your own modifications as long as you don't redistribute them.

SM and WP licences are incompatible. Such a bridge is illegal ATM.

You would need 10x that at the least to recruit someone to write a bridge...

There are ways around it, but it's such a pain in the ass that it's not worth the trouble.

you are wrong, the bridge itself is not illegal. incompability of those licenses only restricts its distribution, not usage

******. Nevermind I uninstalled wordpress and went to all smf, and am getting those ******ty 500 errors again!

The only time WP throws 500 errors is when there is either a) user error, or b) server misconfiguration
