Database Error Message

I've left Oldiesman a Private Message as he's helped me in the past as I'm definitely NOT a techie and he's wonderful but I don't know if he's away on vacation or not so I'm posting this message.


He upgraded my forum to 1.0.3 some time ago so that's not new.


This morning I had the Coppermine upgraded to the latest by Clive who is a volunteer on the Coppermine site and all was well after it.

Several of us were posting in the forums after this upgrade for several hours.


Then about 3 hours ago, I went to check out to see if there were any new messages and I just get this message:

Database Error
Incorrect key file for table: 'yabbse_log_online'. Try to repair it
File: /hsphere/local/home/photog2/christianphotographers.com/community/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 1192

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum files are currently at version SMF 1.0.3, whereas your database is at version SMF 1.0.1. It is recommended that you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.  

I have absolutely no idea what it means.

I cannot get into the Admin area. 


I'm a grandma that has benefitted from Oldiesman's wonderful help now for a few years and can't manage without him.

The table seems to be crashed. Do you have access to your database by using phpMyAdmin? If you do, run this query:

Code Select Expand


REPAIR TABLE yabbse_log_online;


What is phpMyAdmin?

Pat managed to get hold of me and I have fixed it.  The table yabbse_log_online was corrupted, and unrepairable, but Pats backup was fine.
