SMF Downloads Directory Lite v1.0 - NIBOGO
Downloads System fully integrated with SMF, a PRO Version with a lot of additional features.

Lite (This) Version Features:

o Link files in Downloads.
o Unlimitied Categories. (PRO Version comes with subcategories, redirection categories and extensions allowed, files size, screenshots and a lot of other settings per category).
    o Disclaimer per category.
o Global Permissions (Pro version comes with permissions per categories and profile permissions).
o Multi-Files per Download.
o Ban people for Downloads Areas or all the system!

PRO VERSION Features:

o Upload files not only links.
o Upload Quota Limit based on Membergroups.
o Between Downloads Wait Time based on Membergroups.
o Downloads Wait Time allows you to set the number of seconds that an user needs to wait to download a file.
o Maximun Downloads per Day based on Membergroups.
o Advanced Uploader with Upload Progress Bar and Multi-Upload. (Each user choose what uploader want to use).
o Simple Uploader supporting multi-files upload.

One question: I have a board where i put all my attachments (text documents). Does this mod import the data from the database regarding these attachments (number of downloads, for example)?

No sorry, only converters from TP Downloads and SMF Downloads System are available; however, your idea could be done.

Well, i have more than 4 thousand attachments and it would be a great help if that could be implemented to facilitate the migration to your mod.

Don't know if that would be part of Lite or Pro version, but since i'm willing to pay for the Pro version, i guess that won't be a problem, but it would be good to have that in the free version so that people could migrate their files easily.

Please take a look to your Error Log, I can't reproduce that error

Got the same error message in my browser window, there is no error in the error log, and i seem not to can add downloads to the category only if i use this i get a screen to add just a link not a file ??

Yh i know now but for the error i think not sure anyway

the sub-actions and actions are not defined into the index.php file while SMF thinks he needs the index.php file for that... that cause the error

I'm using that mod without any errors in SMF 2.0 Final, if people are using RC3 or below, that'd be the issue

I'm using also 2.0 Final did the same trick as Jessica rename de general category to something else and that error pops up

Hello, with this lite system are members allowed to download? there are no quotas etc I set permissions for members to allow download but all they can see is the info there is no download link ( although there is for Admins!) now i don`t want to allow admin status to everyone on the site, so how are the permissions set  please?

Im using both 2.0 RC5 and 2.0 gold and both do not show the download links

Thank you for this great mod, I have one small problem that I just noticed... I get duplicate files when I upload a file.  There must be a double code entry some where, what file  should i check or find this double entry in?  I had installed this mod a long time ago but never actually tested it or uploaded any files until now.
I dont have the lite version, that's how long it's been lol.

I definitely gotta give this mod a try. With the lite version will it be possible to display the latest uploaded files in a portal block?

Also, I read something about multi-download or something. Does this mean that on the download page I can have multiple links for the same file? If not, then is there a way for me to place more than one link on the same download page, like from more than one file host?

Yes but you'd have to create the code and yes you can have multi-links per download
