2.0 Multi Color Themes - MineralGem Multi Color, Gem Multi Color & Mineral Multi Color

This download contains a series of themes, 3 Multi Colors and the individual colors that make them up:

MineralGem Multi Color - 3 grey colors and 8 pastel colors
Mineral Multi Color - 3 grey colors
Gem Multi Color - 8 pastel colors

These themes are not curve variants and contain changes to the following files:

BoardIndex.template.php
Display.template.php
index.template.php
MessageIndex.template.php

These may mean that some mods require manual edits to install them.
The themes also contain eliments of CSS3 which aren't supported in older browsers.
The themes are fluid but works just as well as a fixed width theme as in the demo, recommended fixed width size is 980px

The multicolor versions of the theme can have the default color set by the admin in the Current theme settings of the Admin panel but members can set their own preference in their profile settings.

Profile > Modify profile > Look and Layout > select "change" on the current theme and then use the drop down box to select own personal color preference.

The individual colors from the themes are also available to download.
Demos:

Antracite - Medium Grey
Charcoal - Dark Grey
Aquamarine - Pale Blue
HotPinkTopaz - Bright Pink
Moonstone - Blue/Grey
Peridot - Green
PurpleJade - Lilac
RoseQuartz - Pale Pink
SkyBlueTopaz - Blue
Tourmaline - Yellow

These themes have had most icons replaced using the following icon sets
FamFam Silk - Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States.
Farm-Fresh - Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License.
Not only are these icons better looking than the standard SMF icons but they will match the icons used in certain mods such as portals to give your site a uniformed look.

Hi, Mr. G. - hope your 4th is a good one. :)

Still experiencing the same topic view overflow to the right problem - here's a screenshot taken a few minutes ago at the demo board:

I haven't reinstalled the theme as yet but would really like to, so I thought I'd bring it up in this new topic.
Thanks! :)

P.S. - Don't worry about looking at this or replying today - I just wanted to mention it again - you just enjoy your holiday, and get to it when you can.

Cheers! :)

MrGrumpy

I'm British so the 4th July isn't exactly a celebration for me lol

Is it just the MineralGem theme or do all the variants demo's do this for you too?
What browser are you using?
What operating system are you using?
What screen resolution do you have?

I ask this as I don't have the problem you have and no-one else has reported experiencing it and trying to narrow down what could be causing it.

#6
It's every color variant of the Mineral Gem, Mineral Multi, and Gem Multi themes on the demo board(s).
I'm using Firefox 5.0 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 at a screen resolution of 1280x800 on a 17" MacBook Pro 1,2. Everything is fully up to date.
Hope that helps. :)

Sorry for the delay in replying - it's been a busy week.

EDIT: I just checked, and the problem appears to be specific to Firefox - in Safari and Chrome it renders properly. Unfortunately, Firefox is my default browser on this machine, so simply changing browsers just to use with these themes is not a viable option for me.

MrGrumpy

This appears to be a problem with Mac and Firefox, sorry but I don't use or have access to a Mac so can't test anything to try find a solution to the problem.

Really is nothing I can do as I'm unable to give a fix unless I had a Mac to test on, you might want to post in the general Graphics and Templates board and explain the situation and see if someone with a Mac can help you. If you do find a solution please post back here so I can fix the problem on the themes so it  will work for Mac users.

MR G,

Can you take a look at this screen shot? My info center seems to be off center in IE9. I see that you have moved these from the original location and made some changes?? You had added a few things to the theme for me and I don't want to lose those. Can I just replace the CSS to hopefully fix the info center issue?
Thanks again for all your help and these great themes.

Turkısh characters show weird when you view the forum in English. May i ask what is the character set for the template and how can i change it?

Are you using the latest version from this download as that was an issue that was present before I made some updates to the theme.

Do you mean if someone translates your site using the google translate it's not displaying characters correctly?

No. I mean when i view the forum in english as action=index;language=english

MrGrumpy

Sorry but I don't see how Turkish characters displaying incorrectly are related to the theme.

The theme is made using English language and if you are using another language instead and that language doesn't translate to English properly then that seems to me to be a problem with the Turkish to English translation which is nothing to do with my theme files.

I think This theme has compability issues with IE8+
When you view in IE9, the compability view (ripped off paper symbol) sign appears on the adress bar and when you clicked on it, it messes up the entire shape of the forum. Especially the recent topics part.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the one you put together for me with the "Choose your forum color" text above the color choices. I don't wan't to lose that text as a lot of my user base is 50+ and want to keep it simple easy for them. If you can let me know how to insert that text in the new D/L of the theme I will d/l to correct the issue I'm having. Thanks again. Your help is greatly appreciated.

MrGrumpy

Give me 24hrs and I'll edit the files to add the text and attach them here for you to upload once you install the new package.
