registration error security image not displaying
« on: September 21, 2011, 12:30:43 PM »
Hello,  I upgraded to version 2 a week or 2 back and all seems to be working fine.  I found today that I had a couple emails saying people could not register.   So I tried to register myself as a new user from a different browser...

All works till U get to putting in the security code ... there is no image being displayed or it shows as a broke picture depending on browser.  Of course if U don't enter and try and proceed it says security code is incorrect.  if U click the play sound a new window opens but it does not say anything when U click on link to do so.

Any idea's?

Thanks in advance for any help!

PS the only mod I have in is YouTube BBCode    2.6  all else is standard install.

found problem ...

<?php require_once("../password/password.php"); ?>    I put this at the top of the index.php file it caused the problem.

This Forum is set up under a password protected area.   I don't want people being able to go directly to it unless they have proper password.  Any suggestions on where and in what file I can put this code?

Thanks again for UR time!
