Oh, I thought we would skip the public release. Sorry...

Sirius

I don't even know if i will have the time to wait for the next release, because the members of my 2 forums are starting to complain and I have to do something about this ,   I know that you guys want to make money,  but I'm not sure that it is the right way to do it...   ; you let us deal with the bug untill we get tired of it and sign up for charter member without knowing if it will fix all the problems...
maybe i will try to reinstall 1.0.5 and use a back up ( and loosing many posts and memberships) or simply change the software for a more stable one...    Eventually  I have to do something about it  and soon.

Daniel D.

*lol* We want to make money? :D
SMF is free! Nobody of us received any money since a few years. So please stop telling such things :)...

You're not a charter member, so you'll have to wait until 1.1 Final.

that is the post who made me think this way  ...  OK then , no problems

Why? I say the truth - everybody have to wait until a release is official, except Charter Members.

Seeing SMF 1.1 RC1 at the bottom here gives those of us that have emailed many times asking about being a charter member (with no playpal) with no response hope for a new release soon :-X

I know that I should upgrade to the latest version, but I'm just interested. Is it just me that can't get the ban feature in SMF 1.1 Beta 3 Public to work.

I've tried banning some test users that I set up using all the different methods and they can quite happily keep logging in and posting.

Works for me just fine.

I was hoping to hold out for the Release version. Too many hacks to keep updating...  ::)
