For once I am not on asking for help  ::)

I was reading over some old threads tonight and one kinda stood out a bit, something about dissatisfaction with SMF ??? I found it a little odd so read it all and I had to laugh at some of the comments, especially about references to the ages of the developers. How anyone can be surprised about young adults building the future and teaching the "seniors" about the possibilities of a concept is truly beyond me.

Me, I am 46, father of one son whom, though is disabled teaches me every day. I was first introduced to bulletin boards a couple of years ago and have tried a few out. For me, SMF is the best of the bunch, not only for the programing but for the help given here. My knowledge about PHP is painfully limited but thanks to you lot, I know more than I did yesterday & will learn more from you tomorrow. I hope SMF always remains free & open source unlike some of the other bulletin board systems for I would bet there are countless people like me out there who truly appreciate your efforts and just maybe there is one who can be encouraged to go that extra mile and teach all of you in later life.

You have developed a great system here guys and the help is second to none (I think I already had your ages pegged pretty accurately)  ;D
