No luck reinstalling, same error. Very frustrating, such a great mod, had this easy under 1.x, and cbi and this just wont work for me under 2.0.2

It works great however only members who login can see the icons. Admins and guests can't. Is there some permissions setting ?

I've re-un-re-re-re-installed, always the same: it installs, takes me to the control panel and then BAM!:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /home/content/r/o/k/rokket2001/html/models/Sources/AdkPif.php on line 68

I'd fix up manual tweaks - I'm sure I will have to to get it to work on my custom theme...but i dont have enough info

In testing I got errors for other themes, but didn't care. Now I do - seems core was one of the errors. I've deleted many of the other themes, and of course all I want is for this to work on a custom theme (that doesn't show in the list!) I get one test successful, the rest fail.

I replaced the offending files with copies from default. Prolly an amateur thing to do, but testing was then successful...but still got the error.

This was sooo simple in ver 1.xx. Disappointed that 2 mods aren't working for me. Hopefully no one else is having a problem.

It seems cleaning those "failed" files worked, in sense that the cbi mod now works. At least one does. yay!

Hmm. It was working but now I get
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/xxx/public_html/forum/Themes/default/AdkPif.template.php on line 1

I uploaded the file from the .zip and still get this? Time to reinstall?

Fixed. The comments are the top of the file were corrupt.

Motorhed

I get this error when uploading PNGs:

Format not allowed. The format is allowed: png.

As stated, I *am* uploading pngs. Files actually saved as png, just so nobody thinks I'm dumb enough to rename a jpeg to png. :)

Adk-Team

Motorhed attach that image file please

Motorhed

No problem, here you go.

If it makes any difference, I'm using older versions of Photoshop to make the images, then Paint Shop Pro to conver to PNG.

For some reason Photoshop saves PNG images much darker than intended.

Adk-Team

The images are perfect. all png

    [3] => width="40" height="40"
    [bits] => 8
    [mime] => image/png

This has already happened to a user.

Test please.

1º Upload this images to the folder "adkpif/number_id" per ftp
2º If you see the images in the forum, try to reload the images from the administration.

Motorhed

Where should that directory be, if you don't mind my asking? I looked for it.

Adk-Team

Motorhed

That's what I suspected. Tried it and it doesn't work. I don't want to bother you more than I have, so I guess we can chalk this up to some sort of mod/theme incompatability or something...

Adk-Team

Want to spend an admin demo account so I can try? per PM

Motorhed

I figured it out. The reason the folder I added didn't work was because it was lowercase, and the reason the AdkPif folder didn't let me upload was because the permissions were set incorrectly. I don't know why, I just installed the package via control panel. Either way, this is fixed, now. :) Thanks!

How should I fix the problem in 2.0.2? I had it running on one of my 2.0.2 forums a few weeks ago, and I have a new forum running on 2.0.2 now but it doesn't work.
