Very well, hmm.. just so it works with all theme's I'd say an easy way is to edit Sources/Display.php

For SMF 1.1x or 2.0.x
find:

return $output;


replace with:

        $output['body'] .= '<br /><br /><div>This is a an example of text appearing below each post</div>';
return $output;


Replace the text with the desired html or whatever. The extra div can have style attributes added.




And how to put on the beginnig of the post and just in the last post in the page? :D
