Okay, I've been trying to download all the things I need for SMF but I don't know what to do. Do I just download the newest version of each and install it? I don't really know what to do, please help me. And when I have installe dthem all, hwo do I install SMF???

I read the installation help but it doesn't make sense, I don't know what I'm supposed to edit or how I access it

Okay, then go to the download page and click on the 2.0.2 full install package. Upload it to your site and go to install.php. Then follow the steps and it will install SMF for you. Make sure you have created a database though. When there is a new version available, download the update package (from the 2.0 series, not 1.1 or 1.0), overwrite all files with the files from the update package and go to upgrade.php. Then follow the steps and it upgrades your forum.
