hiya ive been struggling with this for a while. we have used the sunshine theme on our forum but the theme says "sunshine theme" at the top and i need to change that to display our site name or to put a logo on. is this possible with this theme and does anyone have any easy way to do this?

thanks for your help in advance!

Admin>Current theme (Assuming you're using that theme)>This theme's name:

It's that simple. :)

If you want a logo, scroll down to (You guessed it) "Logo image URL:" :)

bubbleybooboo

ive tried that and it still says the sunshine theme at the top?

kat

Ah. I don't have that theme installed.

To save me farting around, can you give me a URL to your forum, so I can take a look?

bubbleybooboo

sorry to sound thick but where do i find the url?

kat

URL=Uniform resource locator

In English: Your website/forum's address. ;)

Oh, heck... It's one of those, where it's kinda hidden away... :( (I HATE it when they do that!)

Gimme a while to work this one out.

Shouldn't be too long.

EDIT: Damn. I'm gonna have to install it and get back to you.

Gimme a while.

Shambles

Sorry K@ - I needed something to do.

The logo is at this address:

http://super-mummies.com/Themes/Sunshine/images/theme/logo.png

(referenced at line 3520 in your css file)

Simplest way would be to overwrite the above file with your own graphic :)

bubbleybooboo

so just replace the part you said with the http thingy of a graphic we want it to have?

Shambles

Well, either put your own logo in the location I wrote (keeping the name the same) or grab your theme's .css file and change line 3520 to point to a logo of your choice  8)

kat

Ta, Shambles!

I can uninstall it, now. :)

Sorry  :( I feel bad for jumping in, especially when I read you were "going the extra mile" to find the info.

It's always a toughy (I find, anyway) when the entire logo thing is described in the stylesheet - but that makes Firebug* all that more impressive.

No sweat, mate! :)

I was gonna suggest, to the customizing team, that we have a rule, whereby the logo can be changed, more easily.

When you think how often we get asked this, is seems, to me, to make sense to make this a LOT easier.

Having them all comply with the "Logo image URL:" thing would make life MUCH easier, both for our yummy members and for us, too.

Definitely!
Would be so much easier for those of us that don't have a clue!

It'd help those who only small clues, like me, too! :)
