Hi,

I just enabled news fader. When I enter 2 different news item, the news index shows a "cursor / line". The graphic issue goes away if I have just 1 news item.

http://tinypic.com/i1afk7.gif [nofollow]

IE shows okay. Using FF.

Any ideas?

I tell u what im not letting u off the hook so easy lol!!!
I am also looking for the page bg colour? is that in the css file as well? cant see it and can u add a bg graphic?
Also finally lol..the words 'my community' under the buttons and on the blue bar below the boards (my community - info center) can these be changed ?

http://www.solariserecords.com/forum/index.php

Theres it

The background can be changed in the style.css file, look for it under the body class ;) And anything text related in the theme can be changed in your language files ;) Btw I have checked your forums, your logo is cool but you seem to have the wrong version of the Saf-Blue installed. Please install the 1.05 version ;)

I don't recall editing the news fader, does the same thing happen with the default theme?

PS: Great themes!!

Hello,

I'm using this great theme and Visual Warning Mod. Problem is, the "Warn" link is missing. How can we make Visual Warning Mod work with this theme?

Thanks!

mimbo

just installed and looks great.  How do I change the simple machines logo to ours in the top right?

1MileCrash

merged with the topic.

Just overwrite the file with your own.
The only thing php can't do is tell you how much milk is left in the fridge.

mimbo

Thats what I wanted to do, but when right click it's not a file..comes up with the forums addy...no file name.

I love this theme.  Thanks for putting so much time into it.  I have installed it wrapped in a Mambo soon to be Joomla forum (www.criticaldetroit.org).

Can you tell me how to remove the top graphic altogether?  I'm doing something wrong.   Everytime I try it, the top line of the table is missing.

It also appears the right hand side of the tables are missing too.  (Hmmm, I either screwed it up more than I thought, or the fixed width mambo template is to constricting.)

  • It has a brand new icon and button set which can be distrubuted under the LGPL license

Hello forsakenlad, :)

Nice topic icons set from Saf Theme !  ;D I tried to use it in SMFOne theme, but I have some problems.

In the MessageIndex view they seem to look just fine in the list of topics and at the bottom (different greys, but both grey backgrounds).
In the Display view, at the Author/Topic line (blue in my case), I see an "ugly" grey border at the right of the icons. Something like a shadow with no transparency. There are also one or two grey pixels at the icons top and left.

Do you know what I mean ? And is there something you could do to correct the problem ?

It was described somewhere in the thread, the case was the same as yours, the person wanted to remove them so that he/she could use the theme in Joomla/Mambo. I will soon release a Joomla/Mambo edition of the theme so that it is compatible with them and the CSS of the two don't interfere ;)

Glad to hear your apperciation ;) I don't have the PSD's for them so It might not be easy to remove that bad looks. However you can work on them in Photoshop, It wouldn't take much time I guess ;)

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll be watching for the new edition.  I made some modifications and got most of it working, but there are still some small interferences that I can't quite resolve (i.e. latest topic in the infocenter, and right side of tables in the forum index).  I'm probably the only one who will notice.

first of all: thanks for this really nice theme!!

and here's my question:
does anyone know where to deactivate the message icons (thumb up, thumb down, exclamation point, ...)

thanks for your answers,
matt

I'm still working on making parts of this theme work with the rest of my site.  I attempted to move the login area only to the top of the forum, as part of the welcome message.  It seems to work except I get some errors appearing in the forum error log.

Errors:
8: Undefined index: show_login_bar
File: /home/critica3/public_html/forum/Themes/default/Themes.template.php (eval?)
Line: 212

I think I have programmed something wrong with the session length input.  I tried to change it to a dropdown box.  Did I make some errors with the relocated login bar or did I leave some code behind in the info box?

Here's the excerpt from index.template.php:
<form action="http://www.criticaldetroit.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=40&action=login2" method="post" style="margin: 0;">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2" width="200"><tr>
<td valign="middle" align="left">
<label for="user"><input type="text" name="user" id="user" size="15" /></label>
</td>
<td valign="middle" align="left">
<label for="passwrd"><input type="password" name="passwrd" id="passwrd" size="15" /></label>
</td>
<td valign="middle" align="left">
<label for="cookielength"><select name="cookielength">
<option value="60">1 Hour</option>
<option value="1440">1 Day</option>
<option value="10080">1 Week</option>
<option value="302400">1 Month</option>
<option value="-1" selected="selected">Forever</option>
</select></label>
</td>
<td valign="middle" align="left">
<input type="submit" value="Login" />
</td>
</tr>
<tr><td colspan=4>Login with Username, Password, and Session Length.</td>
</tr>
</table>
</form>

This is not the place to ask this question, please ask it in the Administration and Functionality board.

Open up your style.css file and search for:

Code (style.css) Select
        background-image: url(images/top_bg.gif);

And replace it with:

Code (style.css) Select
        background-image: url(images/top_bg.jpg);
