if so, and if you are using SMF 2.0.x, you need to apply emulation: How can I install a mod that doesn't work in my SMF version?

Yes that is the plugin I am using and thank you for the link I set my version to eluminate, and I do know how to install mods but it wont work still (((((((((((((

Still says: The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

What did you enter, as the version to emulate?

Just: emulate and now it says: SMF emulate

Emulate is the name of the tool. You have to put in the right version number, e.g. 2.0 RC4
