Little bored today and thought of taking advantage of Instagram API.  Figured some SMF users would like to display their latest instagram uploads in their profiles.

No Mick what I meant was the gallery ie pics.

There is a mod which allows a member to add their instagram to their profile same way as tthe facebook and twitter on the left here.

Ok thats what i thought. I used both mods long time ago. Didnt know if they got updated with such Instagram support.

Yea i know about the mini icons too but that is just a target link.

Im going forward with this. Pretty easy to make.

plus, you can use the API to show all instagrams photos in a action, like index.php?action=instagram with reply to comments and like system.

Really i dont have any intentions of using an action.  Just a simple row of pics on users profile.

Planning on doing something similar, but with more social sites

I'll be adding a feed to the Profile pages using their selected networks which will show what they've been posting, images or videos they have recently uploaded.
