Strangest thing, when I post a direct link from the address bar to Facebook (this only happens to Aeva media for the albums) I get an an error message in the post on Facebook, BUT the link still takes you to the page.

Here's the link
http://hobbymafia.com/forum/media/

And here's how it shows in facebook

Its strange because all of the other links from the site work just fine except for the aeva media link.
I did however change the menu name from media to photos so could that have something to do with it ?

Kindred

did you change the menu text or the actual link?

Only the menu text and nothing more. I simply changed it from media to photos. But as a test I'll change it back to see if it was the issue but I doubt it is.

* UPDATE

I changed it back to media and when I post any links to facebook from aeva whatsoever I get that error message.

Try it for yourself.

what link are you using for the avea content?

there is actually an "external link" code which should be used...

Well this isnt for individual images. This is for the album homepage itself.
For example

This link is for the Donk Buildoff album so people can vote on the scale model

And this is the landing page for all the albums

Both show as errors when I use the URL link from the address bar...but...it displays the website logo picture and not the rest of the thumbnails

Kindred

yes....   it will not display the images - it will display the website logo.

I am unsure why it would show "an error has occurred - but it may be related to the extra code that you have with that floating sidebar

I'll uninstall it and see

*UPDATE

No dice, I uninstalled and its still reading as an error URL

Kindred

then sorry... I have no clue.   Something on your page is generating that error message when facebook tries to scan it.
