gritche - I've been trying to tweak the current converter to work with release candidate versions of vBulletin, but we keep running into problems anyway. If you can send me a copy of the database structure for that version of vB, I'll see what I can do.

elmacik - yes, he should be able to convert to SMF with just the database, although he'll need to create a "fake" vb config file so SMF knows where to find the vB stuff.

I'm still trying to figure out why the vB 3 converter isn't working right with vB 3.5. I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had much time to play with things.

a fake config?
sounds logical.. any opinion, how to do this?

I've got a vB 3.5 RC1 that I'd like to convert to SMF.... any ideas how to approach this?
