NewBB2.0 version 2.01

I tried searching but couldn't find the answer. I hope I'm not asking a question you can all dream.
Since I found smf I want to switch from xoops/newbb2 to joomla/smf1.1rc1 (which will go stable soon I guess) I've been setting up the bridge succesfully and am trying to get the hang of joomla and creating a template similair to the one used now on hxxp:www.linuxplaza.net [nonactive].
Problem is before I can actually switch I need to convert the forum. I saw a beta converter mentioned but can't find the download.
Has anyone tried to convert and did it work?
