Conversion from mybb to smf

Has anyone ever used the smf conversion program to change over from mybb to smf..

If so how did it go..

I'd like to do this but a little wory

As you can see in this board, there are several conversions already performed.

Unfortunately the conversion isn't usually a straightforward process :( But we can help you as much as possible ;)
In any case, the converter doesn't touch your original MyBB setup so, even if things go wrong, your running forum will be OK

I decide don't conver that. It to dangerous because i can lose my data

No, you don't loose your data, unless you damage things yourself :P

The converter just READS information from the original forum, it won't damage it ;)

As long as the forums are in different folders (have to be) and in different databases, it's not easy to screw things up ;)

and want to migrate into simple machine 2.+
please let me guide
which convert i must use and how the steps process should be?????

I don't know if the current converter (for 1.6) works or not in 1.8...

I'm in the process right now. First was a Test, nothing lost.. turned out excellent....what you will find is permissions, need to be redone..

Best move you'll ever make is leaving mybb and coming here to SMF. SMF is so much better and easier to work on..

You may have to downgrade your board back to 1.6 before you can convert to smf..
