Some user's topics create 100 replies. (SMF: 2.0.13)

As you can see, these continue all the way down the page for quite a ways, much more than what should be allowed on a page without spilling over onto another, and probably a third, fourth and fifth as-well, yet there is still only one page.
This happened with another account earlier and we believe using a VPN fixed it. If I try to split the topic or remove one of the posts (no the original one) this happens:



Edit: It also seems that each repeating post is being posted from a different country?
