Packages/Backup Folder

My Packages/Backup folder has grown to 485 MB. How important is it to keep all these backups ?

if you dont need to restore them, and you keep your own backup they are not important.

I have downloaded the folder to my drive, so I think I will delete the contents of the folder.

leave behind any index.php, .htaccess files that exist. those are important.

I removed the old backup files and now my Package Manager is not showing. I reinstalled the files from the backup I created, yet no luck.

what is not showing? the backup files dont make the package manager do anything.

Package Manager does not open. Comes up as a blank page with a

"This page isn't working

www.diabetic.pub is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500"

I do have a full backup. I will upload the entire Package folder and check.

did you check your server error log to see what is happening?

I think my "installed list" file went missing.
