Need help to display sub-section icons

Hello,
I installed the "Board Color and Icons" mod for my forum that can be viewed here: http://webobject.net [nofollow]
I mostly installed it to use icons for sub-sections. The trouble for me is that I want to place them to the left of the titles rather than to the right. I have contact the developer of this mod, but no response so far, although he has stated on the subject of mod support that he was going to make an update to allow this modification. Unfortunately, he has not posted anything since for 2 years.

So I ask your help to make this change, or tell me if there is another mod where i can, by default, display the icons to the left of the titles (except "BordIcons" mod who don't displays icons for sub sections in the index forum). advise me for a simple or direct hack in the code of smf.

I tried to poke around the code, but I did not get there, I'm not stuck enough for that;)
