Hello! I need some help. I've read many post about this but a I can't determine what I have to do.

Everythig was working fine. I did not install nothing, but today I have this error:

Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /home1/xxxx/public_html/Sources/Subs-Db-mysql.php:58
smf_db_initiate('localhost', 'xxxx', 'db_name', 'pass', 'hcg', Array)

Running test.php I receive:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in

Running phpinfo I can see that my PHP version is: PHP Version 7.1.14

My SMF versión 2.0.13.

So.... in cpanel I have an option to change my PHP version, and I can see this:
Please Note the following:
The system's default version of PHP is 5.4
You're currently configured to use PHP Stable (5.6)

I've tried changing to PHP 5.4 but is not working. I don´t know what is the next step to find a solution. Any idea?
Thanks!

I don't think it really changed to 5.6 as it claims, if it did it would be working.

Basically, ask your host to put you back to 5.4 or 5.6, then upgrade to SMF 2.0.14 then to SMF 2.0.15 to solve this.
Holder of controversial views, all of which my own.

Ready! the change was not implemented effectively from Cpanel. Tech support changed to PHP 5.6 versión and the site is running again.  Thanks!
