It works good. I had to emulate it for RC1 though. :)

@rjen

Nice, no problems with the version here.

Excellent mod, I don't understand why this option has been removed in SMF 2.1

TurtleKicker

Anyone tested this in 2.1 RC4 yet?

Yes, this mod works fine with SMF 2.1 RC4 (for default theme and its copies) :)

pocttopus

Here says (https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=4223) that is compatible with RC4, but it's not. Still needs to emulate. :-\

Sesquipedalian

It is compatible. It uses only integration hooks, so it will install for RC4 and any future version of SMF 2.1. Its internal package_info.xml file needs to be updated to mention 2.1 RC4, that's all. In the meantime, just select the emulation option and go ahead.
I promise you nothing.

Unfortunately, although it would be quite useful to me, in Jane2
Did not work.
However, after I did his Greek translation, I enclose it with you.

Thank you so much for this Mod! Just turned on emulation as you suggested and installed it on my newly updated SMF 2.1.1. So great to have the 95% width back to what I had it set to in my previous 2.0.19 forum!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The mod is only guaranteed to work in the default theme, other themes can have different structures leading to incompatibility.

Just to explain this a bit further.

In the theme that you are using there, Blue Evolution, the header is within the wrapper.

Where as in the case of the default theme, the header is not within the wrapper.

Not really a fault of the mod :).

Awesome Mod SychO. I love your themes too :).

Oops ... I deleted my post before I realized Twitch had responded. The mod works great!

Is there a way that members can specify a width setting?  Like I know my monitor has a huge resolution, and the forum would look better if it took up more horizontal space on my screen, but a member who may only have a 17" screen, the forum probably wouldn't look right.

No, you would need another mod for that.

If you use percentages in the setting (with this MOD, or my themes) you can pretty much accomplish what you are looking for. You don't need to set the width in pixels or a specific unit.
