I'm having a similar problem.

Anything copied from anywhere, even just text from posts on the forum, when pasted always comes out at 2pix size instead of default.
very tiny.

Any ideas how to fix?

Don't use the WYSIWYG editor. Also, not related to the OP.

Disabling the WYSYWG editor worked.
