Version SMF 2.0.8

Greetings SMF it's been a long time.  Thank you for all your service.

I accidentally deleted files and folders to my forum.  I have tried to restore several times from cPanel, but it still does not work properly.
I can get it to work without SSL, but once I add the "s" to the address, the Themes fail, (as if all of the CSS is bypassed)
I also tried to upgrade to 2.0.17 several times and it has failed.
Good thing is, I have all of the Database.  It was from the version 2.0.8  .

I can't say what happened to your files but if you have a good database then there is hope.  First make a backup of everything. Then you can either install SMF at 2.0.8 replace the DB with yours and upgrade from there one version at a time as I do not know what PHP version you are running.

Sir Osis of Liver

Don't have to upgrade from 2.0.8 to 2.0.17, there are no database changes.  Upload clean 2.0.17 files, do db settings in Settings.php, either with repair_settings.php or manually, reinstall mods, themes, customizations.  If you have no useable backups, only thing you'll lose is attacments.

It does not work in secure mode.  Once I put "https://" all the CSS or Themes quit working.
