Forum Version 2.0.18, Database 2.0.17
For a number of years I have been trying to solve this error message when I try to delete an unwanted member from my forum.
Table 'princege_pgmcc.smf_log_errors' doesn't exist
File: /home/princege/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Members.php
Line: 258
I have over this time received pieces of code to repair it but no one has been able to show me HOW to insert or create the necessary code to get it into SMF.
I am not a programmer or a tech wizard and have never used php.
Is there someone out there that can help me get this error message to go away and let me delete these unwanted members.?
Maybe someone can explain why it disappeared in the first place as it worked for several years before.
Thank in advance

Does the table exist in the database?
Ashes and diamonds, foe and friend,
we were all equal in the end.

Thank you for answering
The file
/home/princege/public_html/forum/Sources/Subs-Members.php
exists but the table
princege_pgmcc.smf_log_errors'
does NOT exist.

Sir Osis of Liver

That's a core table, did you delete it?

No i didnt even know these tables existed, as I said i know nothing about php language or its structure. I just used the Forum.

It's not php, it's mysql.  Afraid to ask, but how many smf_ tables are in your database?  Basic 2.0 install contains 63 tables, some mods will add more.  If only one missing is smf_log_errors you can import attached into the db using phpmyadmin.

To my knowledge that is the only one missing, I have not had another error message of any sort except for this one.
How do I access PHPMYADMIN ? Is there a phpadmin for dummies manual anywhere?

Sir Osis of Liver

Assuming you're able to access your host cpanel -

  cpanel -> databases -> phpmyadmin

Click on database name in left column, database tables will be displayed.  Should be 63 tables minimum, see if smf_log_errors is listed.  If it's not, and no other tables are missing, d/l the sql file attached to my previous post, click Import (up top) and import the table into your database.

Don't suppose you have a recent database backup?

It's no acronym - it's an alcohol thing ;)
