Look up IP, add whois server

Hello, am looking for some info on how to edit whois lookup. Seemingly it's all in Profile-View.php.
I'd like having this one working: https://check-host.net

The important part is to get the direct ip entry, like https://check-host.net/ip-info?host=66.71.247.135 as it would on arin or ripe. Maybe this is of help https://check-host.net/about/api

& anyone knows of any other all-world whois worth using ?
