Error message from 'Fetch Simple Machines Files' scheduled task

Since this site was upgraded I'm getting the following error message on all my forums when the 'Fetch Simple Machines Files' task runs:
Could not retrieve the file https://www.simplemachines.org/smf/latest-themes.js?language=english&version=SMF+2.0.17.

Task details:
Fetch Simple Machines Files
Retrieves javascript files containing notifications of updates and other information.
