Anti-Spam Questions

SMF 2.1.1

I moved to another host and starting to see a few problems and this is one (most important one) of them:

For some reason my anti spam questions reordered themselves!

I deleted all the old question and put in some new ones and when I clicked save and they all reordered, they weren't in the same order as I created them! Never had this happen before.

Also, might have been a glitch or something I don't know but had this happen twice when a user (test user/me) was using a form (custom forms mod) three antispam questions were there as they should be along with recaptcha. I answered all the questions correctly (I know because I created them and did this twice) and then got an error saying I had answered the questions incorrectly (I mean I could have answered incorectly ) but then showed the same 3 questions plus three more Identical questions. In other words it showed the same 3 questions twice for  a total of 6 questions instead of just the 3!

I do have the Image for verification mod installed but I have no errors in admin!

Any help please??

Edit: Not sure if its related to the image verification mod or not is why I didn't post in that board yet!

I have reproduced this on a fresh install of SMF 2.1.1 with the Images for verification mod and the Custom form mod installed and got the same result. So I'm assuming it's a mod issue!?

So now I've narrowed it down to I think it's the custom form mod since I removed the Image for verify mod it still doubling the same questions upon wrong answer...

it showed the same 3 questions twice for  a total of 6 questions

This unexpected behavior stems from calling the verification twice—one to initialize and one to check your work. Except that the questions are reinitialized when the questions get verified.

I'll push a new release in a week or two to resolve this.
