Hextech
A dark spacey grungey like smf theme lol.

I was wanting to make another multicolor theme but this time a dark one. I started off with the background and then made the cool cat_bar background then went from there. I am still tweaking the colors for visibility and such.

Thinking I should just set a variable for the forum width to make it easy to change .

Alright I got two different styles I could go with for the drop menus .

1.  More of a top merges into the drop menu.

Odd.. I am using Firefox and it works fine.

Possibly a settings or addon issue?

As for the dropdowns, my personal preference would the hexmenu2.png one.

If you want to use the 1 style I would get rid of the top drop shadow, and have a seamless join between the menu bar and the drop. That can look good, but having the drop shadow interfering along that seam looks wrong to me.

Been a minute since I gave an update for this one.  I am pretty happy with it minus the purple one. Can't seem to find the right shade of purple for it.

Don't get too fixated on "I want purple". This is a common problem with multicolour themes: the author gets fixated on wanting a certain range of colours, instead of just sticking to the few that work really well.

With a dark background you will need a fairly light purple to get usable contrast for text. Something like #ac8cff. Not too dark, and not too saturated.

Going lighter was the solution for this one. Much better than before.

Still working on it. Close to done though. Dark themes just take a bit longer. You get to where you think that you are done, then boom you find another white border or something lol.
