unable to connect to ssl://www.google.com:443

Hello,
For some time I'm seeing the following error in the logs in SMF 2.1.2:

forum/Sources/ReCaptcha/RequestMethod/Socket.php (Line 58)  Backtrace information
2: fsockopen(): unable to connect to ssl://www.google.com:443 (Connection timed out)

This is not happening every time and I can't reproduce it, but there are about 20-30 errors daily. Do you experience such an error too?
