Sir Osis of Liver

.htaccess -

Deny from 192.16.*.*
Deny from 192.16

I can't find any mod that does that.

Sir Osis just showed you the easiest way. :)

For those who can read minds maybe :D

Anyways, banning them through the .htaccess file, as mentioned above, is very efficient way, if banning ips through the admin panel is not working for you.

I dunno my friend ... I immediately thought she meant banning as I couldn't think of any other use for it.  :P

i thought maybe the OP wanted to limit access to a set range of IP addresses, you never know unless you ask.

Steve

I guess I had an edge in that I'm a member of her forum so I knew it wasn't that.

I thought the same thing as well. The OP has a history of being very vague in their support topics btw.

There are plenty of uses actually, like what @Illori and I thought for ex, which was not what the OP meant. Another use of this can be to block access to a particular forum, or topic, or a member profile and so on.

Vague? Right. Dont you have a staff section where you can talk about users behind their backs? Just a thought  ::)

please take a look at https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=581245.0, it has information we find useful when you make a topic asking us for help. really your topics are very vague and leave us guessing as to what you actually want.

Steve

Not sure why this is here since her forum version is 2.0.19 ... moving.
