Hello, when I have enabled this "Automatically link posted URLs" setting then my urls go from google.com to -> https://burning-brushes.pl///google.com example here: https://burning-brushes.pl/oferty-pracy/gdzie-szukac-pracy-jako-grafik/ Why is that? Can I fix this? I'm running 2.1.3.

Kindred

your example gives me a 403/forbidden

Just an fyi, both links worked fine for me.

But do answer Kindred's question.
DO NOT pm me for support!

It gives me 404 error, because a page https://burning-brushes.pl///pracuj.pl doesn't exist. I have installed:
Optimus
Light Portal
Block Proxy VPN On Registration
Stop Forum Spam
Pretty URLs

Maybe somebody has an idea why it adds these three slashes to the url and instead of making it an external url it makes it so it's forum.com///url?

None of the examples you linked to seem to be wrong in any way. All the 7 links in the post look and work like they should.
But what I would look at: Make sure your forum url settings are correct, and the links posted are complete.
If something is missing, it might get interpreted incorrectly.

Wondering if it's a bug in Pretty URLs vs 2.1's revised link handling for auto linked URLs?

Thank you, it was the enabled option "Enable URL rewriting" in Pretty Urls.

Maybe I can keep the "Enable URL rewriting" enabled in Pretty Urls and add something to "Skip Actions List" so it stops rewriting external urls?

Arantor

Sounds like you need to ask in the Pretty URLs thread so its maintainer can take a look...
