Hello all,

I'm looking for an extension that allows to mark multiple sentence parts in the editor (that works yes) and with a click on e.g. "italic" or "bold" format all marks at once.

Currently it is so that the editor formats only the last mark.
This would have the time advantages, because at the end of the writing you could format all the necessary parts of the text with one click.
Is it clear what I mean?
Is there an extension/modification for this?

It's not really clear what you mean, but what I think you mean is that you want to select multiple things at once (e.g. multiple sentences that aren't connected together) and apply formatting to them.

Unfortunately to do so would be a huge rewrite of the editor since as I understand it, it doesn't use multiple selections in the DOM even if theoretically browsers support it (not that all browsers support it consistently)

Yes, that's right.

What a pity and thanks for the info!
I'll wait a bit, maybe another tip comes and then I close the post.
