Am I the only one that remembers a time when script sizes across the web were generally smaller than today, pre smartphone?

Firefox has a user setting to select font and size, with a checkbox to "Allow pages to choose their own fonts".  Not sure what default size is (I'm using 18 with minimum font size of 12, which doesn't make sense), but I believe checkbox is checked by default.

Actually, it's not. I'm using the latest version of Firefox (120.01) and going to the font section and clicking the 'Advanced' button gives you the option to use whatever options you choose or checking a box that says 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above' ... that box is unchecked by default.

Hmm, don't remember checking or unchecking that option.  Setting carries over with updates, so it's probably been like that for a while.
