Banded user

Hello, guys.
I knew to do this but I just blocked it.

How can I add to the post box that the user is a banded to show him a picture that he is a banded instead of the primary rank.

Are you talking about the post box being the one I'm currently typing in?

Unless you create a separate user group for banned users,  there is no way to do this in smf by default.
As user's banned status is not generally displayed for every user to see.

I had that system already on version 2.0. and displayed the adjusted rank to the banded user

That was a mod. AFAIK, it was never updated to work with 2.1.x

I somehow did that via display.template
Instead of the displayed rank, there was a sign for a banded user

There have been mods to do this, for example Label for banned members, but as you can see by the edits it does it's not exactly that simple.  You could take a look at Show Banned Message in Topics, Posts and Profile as well, that's for a 2.1 pre-release version, and could actually work - or be easily updated.

Come on guys, it was very easy, the code was in 2 lines, you just added Show_banded user and the url of the image, something like that. and then when the ban user gets that rank

You have being given too much help with this, and you are not making any efforts to help yourself at all, but expect to be spoon-fed.

If you know that it was just two lines of code, then go ahead and change those lines of code in your 2.1.x installation.

Otherwise,  believe us when we say that it's not quite that simple...

Or head over to the mod requests board and ask for someone to rewrite it for you. Specify free or paid when you request

If you are an admin just go to the users profile and put BANNED in the slot for Custom Title . You can put a Dunce Capped guy in the pic too or something else if you want to . Or just Delete the account .
