OK, this is very odd.

A user was trying to simply change One word, in a post he had created earlier but every time he tried to complete the edit, he was presented with a page that simply said:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource

I then tried (as the Admin') and got exactly the same response !!??

Interestingly, I could Delete Most of the text, and Save the modified post but, if I tried to add ALL the removed text, I got the same problem.

This was by choosing 'Modify'.
I also tried Quick Edit, which also allowed me to edit the post, but Not Restore All the text.
If I chose to 'Preview', I was informed it was 'Fetching the Preview',.. which it never managed to do !!??

I then added a post of my own, to the 'thread' to explain MY actions, and added the text Cut from the post that it seemingly did not want restored and All was good, until I tried editing MY post and got the Same error !!??

Any ideas ??

Put everything back together, but it still runs pretty much as it had originally.

The post above is the text in question, verbatim - as described in stoo23's post above.
Even in another thread on our forum, I cannot post it without getting the error message described by stoo23. Nor can he, apparently.

The original post contained that text, and I attempted to edit the post with clarification and to fix typos.
And I got that error message on both my computer and iPad while trying to edit it. I have narrowed it down to that specific line of text. I even tried editing with the editor with and without wysiwyg mode turned on, same results.

We had both spent considerable amount of time trying to figure out WHY this was happening. As a last recourse, I had to reword the original post. Oddly, that edit worked and did not give the "Forbidden" error again.

But still this may be an issue.
