Afternoon everyone.

We have two members of the forum that are pretty much liked by everyone, and they contribute greatly to the community. The problem is, they just do not get on with each other and clash regularly.

Is there any way I can prevent them from seeing each others posts?
Members do not want the ignore function activated, they just want the two not to see each other.

Is this possible?

Thank you.

Steve

Couldn't they just go into their profile and put each other's names on their personal ignore list? And if you're the admin, you could do it for them. I'm not sure what you mean by 'activating the ignore function' ...
DO NOT pm me for support!

other than the ignore function. no - there is no other option

this case is quite literally, the exact reason why the ignore function exists.

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

Not with out of default features, but it can be done with a mod. I remember coding something similiar for someone a few years back.

If the members are often problematic, have you issued warnings to both of them, up to and including temporary posting bans? That would be one way of doing it, I am assuming you have already talked to them individually via PM.

Even though both of them may be liked by many other members, if they are often disruptive, some form of moderation may be necessary.
