Chat mod (staff use only)

Hi folks

Hoping to move a current Facebook group with 20,000 members to answer SMF forum.

Is there a chat mod which only the forum admins and mods can use and therefore be visible only too them?

The mod pages are a minefield.

There are chat mods... i think they allow permission based access, but it's not part of core
