you will note that we are https not http although they should still be able to access, could this be because I think the settings are set to force https?

what is the actual error?
that is a log entry not an error message displayed to a user...

and if you are using https, then you should use .htaccess to force it.

That is  the error that his browser gave him I think.  I don't have any errors in the error section in admin.

forcing it to use was already set in admin and the other choice was to remove it.

That's not an Error. If that's what the browser displays,  then he needs to talk to his host,  because something is seriously misconfigured.

And, read what I wrote.  I didn't say use admin.  I said force https by using .htaccess

From what I can see, https (for the forum) at least works just fine - so that's probably not it.

A 403 means the server denied access, for some reason, but the error you have in the first post does look like an error log capture on your servers side, more than a user side error.

You can sort of replicate it, by starting a completely new browser session ( ie. Empty your cache first ) and then manually accessing http://www.thefantasiesattic.net/attic/index.php directly. I got a white screen with this

(none) (MY IP HERE) /attic/index.php?PHPSESSID=6688fad8a9a41783926d51f37aeb7a62;sslRedirect www.thefantasiesattic.net Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/131.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 500

There is something wrong on the server, I'm sure. Contact your host if you can't find explaining error logs on the server.
Could be, that a proper .htaccess redirect would fix this.

403 could be mod_security.  Ask host to disable it.
When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

OK "Lex" and Sir Liver...LOL I have always loved the entire moniker.  I will when I can think better. Tylenol is all I can take for this since I am allergic to many meds...LOL That is why I love this software so when it starts acting up you all here don't get mad at us for being slightly idiotic.
