For various reasons I have ended up with a messy set of Attachments directories, see image below. I would like to move the content of the clc-smf-test directory to the Attachments1 directory. Can I just copy the files, and then delete the test directory or will that mess things up? If that will not work, is there another way to accomplish what I need, please?

You can't just move the files.

There are references in the database as to where the files are located.

I thought there was an admin option to move files around

Never tried it, but should do what you're asking.

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

Thanks to both of you for the above answers, I guess that I will have to try duplicating the images into the new directory, and then renaming the old test directory. If I have problem I will have to rename the test directory back and just leave it there.

I looked but could not find an admin tool to move directories

You can't just copy attachments from one directory to another, or rename a directory, the database links will be broken and the attachments will not be displayed.

You can use this to transfer working attachments from one directory to another, it will update the links.
