Likes error by guest users

I'm starting to get a recurring likes guest user error over the last few days. I have tried to reproduce the error as a guest in incognito mode but have been unable to do so.

Likes are not enabled for guests, but they can view them.

They all share the same three lines in the backtrace info, and I'm running SMF 2.1.4.

Any suggestions as to the cause?

it sounds like a spider is trying to hit the likes popup by direct url - hence generating the error. I'd suggest either ignoring it - or adding code to robots.txt and/or .htaccess to block bots from doing that

Thanks Kindred, I suspected it would be a spider/bot thing.

I'll ignore it for the time being and simply clear the errors.

I've been seeing a lot of these also - all from Alibaba IPs.

I am now blocking the IPs.  No forum users in those IP ranges, only problematic/weird crawlers.
