Quick question about drafts.

A member keeps swearing that he can save drafts on topics but there is no option when replying to a topic.  I checked his profile settings, his permissions, everything I could think of but he's right...  When I'm logged in as admin, of course I can save a draft when replying, but when I log in with a test user's "regular member" permissions, I can see the draft option on topics but not on reply.  I don't see a setting that narrows it down that tightly, other than PM, as well as topics.  Can you explain what I should be looking for?

ETA:  Okay, for some odd reason, I can now see the option on "Reply" for my test user, but I just logged on as the member who is complaining and I cannot see the option for reply, only for New Topics.  Are there two different settings, then, one for Topics and one for replies?  I am blind as a bat, I guess.  I'm not seeing it.

Do they have the permission "Save drafts of new posts"? I think that's the permission that would be involved.

It's selected.  I also checked other membergroups he belongs to but all of them inherit their permissions from regular members.

Oddly enough, and this should have no bearing on it, in fact there's no way it could....  but the arcade started throwing errors for the first time, when all this was going on, and when I sorted those errors, all of a sudden, when I logged back in with that member's credentials to finish sorting his issue, the draft option in Reply was back.  Now, how weird is that?  Coincidence, I guess, but maybe errors that seem to have nothing to do with posting can somehow effect it.  (But, no way, right?)  :o

Marking solved, since it appears to be sorted.

Well, never say never but it does sound unlikely that those would be related.
But, if it works now, then good. :)
