I'm fairly new here.  So far all my questions have been answered.  I want to thank everyone who responded to them and helped me.  I now have a forum running on my localhost server.  I'm experiencing some problems that I think are self-imposed.  My localhost runs on Xampp / Apache / MicrosoftSequelServer (should have been MySQL) / phpMyAdmin.  I'm working through issues to take the MicrosoftSQL out of the equation and using MySQL instead.  But that's not the reason for this post.

I came here to see if there is a category/board for discussing mod packages.  I went to "https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=59.0" and could not fine a New Message button.  Why is that?

To open a new topic in there, you need to submit a new mod for the mod site. A related topic is posted, when the mod gets approved and published. These are the topics you see in the board already.

Where do I ask questions about installed mods?  I have SMF Gallery Lite installed and have questions.

Pretty much all mods have an existing topic already setup in the "Mods and Packages" board here:
https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=59.0

You just have to find it!

I find the easiest way to locate the support topic for a mod is to use the customization site to pull up the mod.  Once youve found the mod, you will see a button for "Support and Help":
https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?action=mods

I think you're talking about this one:
