After upgrading to 2.1.6, the packages show Uninstalling emulation: 2.1.4 and 2.1.5. When I go to run, I get many messages in the uninstall, like this "Executing modification ./SSI.php Test failed" and I don't proceed with uninstallation.

Which is the right thing to do? Should I uninstall or not?

If you are talking about the update packages for .4 and .5, then no, don't touch them.

If you need to, you can usually uninstall patches one at a time in reverse order (.6 first, then .5, and then .4 and so on) but if you have no need to do so, don't touch them at all, or simply delete the packages.
